If you’re working part time or retired, got time free during the day, looking for something new to do or just want to meet new friends then come along and join us in the fun. We have no upper or lower age limit.

Marple Bridge and Mellor u3a is part of a nationwide organisation which brings together people to pursue learning and activities. You can find out more about the history of the u3a movement and its vision for the future here Third Age Trust.

What do we Offer

Marple Bridge and Mellor u3a offers our members:

• The opportunity to make new friends
• A chance to share your own knowledge, skills and interests  alongside other members.
• A programme of mainly daytime educational, creative, active  and leisure activities in a friendly informal atmosphere.
• A wide range of interest groups run by our members.
• A monthly meeting with excellent visiting speakers.
