Our monthly meetings are held at St Paul’s Church Hall, Compstall, SK6 5HU on the 3rd Thursday in the month. We are on a bus route or parking is available at Etherow Country Park Pay and Display carpark.
The hall is equipped with a hearing loop system so that members with hearing difficulties can more easily listen to the speakers.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are served from 9.30am giving members a chance to socialise, chat to friends and book in for some of our activities.
At 10.15am the chairman will announce any notices followed by the main event, our speaker.
Entrance fee is normally £2 to cover the cost of refreshments, speaker etc. We welcome visitors and prospective members free of charge to allow people the opportunity to find out a little more about us.
We have some excellent and interesting speakers and over the months we try to cover a wide variety of topics. Some entertaining and some informative.
