Dining Group details:
The concept of the U3A is to promote learning, make new friends and to be an organisation where people on their own can venture out and be made very welcome.
The Dining Group’s objective is to support the concept of the U3A and, with that in mind, we arrange events where old and new friends may meet over a pleasant meal in a congenial atmosphere. Consequently, we do not operate table plans but have a “free seating arrangement”, so that people on their own may join in more easily.
We have a number of volunteer members of the Dining Group, who have agreed to take on the task of arranging dining events where possible on a monthly basis, and we try to schedule these to avoid clashes with other U3A events.
Similarly, we endeavour to organise both lunch and dinner events to facilitate where possible attendance by members at a time which suits an individual’s commitments.
£5 deposit to secure your reservation for all Dining experiences will be required at the time of booking; sorry but this is non-refundable.
