The new Games Group held their first meeting on Wednesday 4th June, at the Methodist Church, Marple from 10 till 12 noon.  Six members attended and we had a choice of about 15 board games.  Although it was our first meeting, we managed to play Othello, Yatzie, Rummy and Rumicubs.  Also on offer were Canasta, Dominoes, Bridge, Whist, Chess to name but a few.  To encourage members to join, we will not be charging an entrance fee for July and August meetings, so make use of this special offer after which time a nominal fee of £2 per person, per session will come into force.

The meetings will be held on 1st Wednesday of the month and we would like as many of you to be able to come not only to play a variety of board games but also meet new people to socialise with, bring your friends and learn new games (if you so wish).

Our next meeting will be on 2nd July @ 10am so please come along and see if you like it.  I feel sure you will have a good time and I look forward to seeing you then.
